Our headquarters are based in Thornton, NSW, serving a large service area all over the Hunter region.
Our in-house local professionals aim to not only provide you with quality installations, but also support you with industry
expertise. No call centres or pushy sales, just a simple solutions-focused solar company.
The Elite Power Group team provides a broad range of solutions that aren't just limited to home solar installations. We pride ourselves in providing tailored, quality solar and electrical systems for all properties. Here's what we do:
Keep your electric fleet on the road with powerful fast and superchargers available for businesses. Charge public and company electric cars all on site with charging infrastructure.
Charge conveniently at home by installing a home electric vehicle charger. Take advantage of both single and three phase charging and never need to use a public charger again.
Supercharge your business and reduce operational costs not just during the day, but rely on stored renewable energy when the sun goes down and access 24/7 backup energy.
Solar battery storage enables homes to access 24/7 solar energy with stored generation from the day for use in the evenings when the sun is down and electricity is at its most expensive.
Our electrical team are specialists in multi-residential and commercial electrical projects for builders, business owners, and other large projects that require electrical solutions.
Finding a reputable solar installer in the Hunter region can be difficult, especially one that will be here for the long-term to support warranties and post-installation.
Our fully-authorised and accredited, licensed electricians and installers are ready to deliver quality you
can trust throughout places like Wallsend, Branxton,
Chisholm, Medowie,
and Nelson Bay.
Local & In-House: Based in Thornton, our team designs, installs, and supports every system ourselves. No subcontractors, no call centres.
SAA-Accredited & Fully Licensed: Every installer is accredited and licensed, giving you peace of mind and warranty protection.
Over a Decade of Experience: Serving the Hunter since 2014, with hundreds of homes and businesses powered across NSW with high-performance systems.
One-Stop-Shop: Get you a company that specialises in Solar, batteries, EV charging, and electrical all under one roof. One company, one relationship.
By adding panels to your roof, you harness free electricity which reduces your daily grid consumption. This reduces your reliance on fossil fuel-generated electricity.
Using the excess solar energy that you store throughout the day at night helps reduce your reliance on peak period grid energy, greatly reducing grid reliance.
Rely on self-generated power and increase your independence, especially with a battery. Offset your daily usage with solar generation and reduce grid consumption.
Having a solar battery means that you have backup energy during grid outages which enables you to stay powered on independent of the grid.
Because you're relying on the energy YOU generate during the day, you avoid paying full electricity bills, and further reduce them with feed-in-tariffs.
Did you know you can boost your property's value by adding solar? Homes that generate their own power generally sell for more as most value self-sufficiency.
Instead of selling your solar energy for cheap through FiTs, you gain the ability to join Amber and trade your energy, or use it instead of expensive peak energy.
WHAT DO OUR CUSTOMERS SAY? |
Real customers, real results. |
Elite installed a solar system and EV charging at my workplace. I'd confidently recommend them to others. The team was professional, trustworthy and helpful...
Exceptional workmanship and professionalism. We had our solar system installed by EPG three years ago and this week our home battery system. Special thanks to Ben and Leighton for their neat work on the Powerwall 3. Highly recommended!
Excellent solar install done in one day. All clean and tidy, with very good communication. Thanks.
I have now engaged Elite Power on 3 occasions - 1. purchase of solar panels. 2. Removal and re-installation of panels when my roof needed to be replaced due to hail damage and 3. The purchase of a solar battery. They are not the cheapest however, they are THE most respectful and reliable company I have dealt with...
Of the 5 companies selected for quotes, Elite was the only one to send a qualified tradesperson to inspect our site and advise on the state of our existing malfunctioning system. All of our dealings were with professionals who had extensive technical history in solar systems. They were price competitive with most other quotes...
An error occured in our system after 6 years where only half of our pannels were being accepted by our inverter. Although Elite did not install our system they sent a tech out the next day to test our system... These guys are the real deal. Thank you very much for all your help.
Incredibly friendly and helpful service, after going to 4 different places that couldn't help this place fixed my problem quickly. The sales representative was especially helpful! Highly recommend.
We have just had a 12.5kW solar system installed by Elite Power Group. Wow what a trades experience! Nick and co today were on time, caring about our property, their workmanship and overall finish. Nothing was a bother. Highly professional organization happy to recommend!
We recently had our solar system replaced and upgraded to an 11.44kw system with battery and off grid capabilities. The 2 days it took for install and commissioning, the team on site were polite, tidy and very hardworking. Would highly recommend!
Elite power Group installed a 13.2kw system to our property at North Rothbury in August 2023. Very professional, easy for us to connect to the internet. No issues at all and it's working perfectly. Would highly recommend again.
Elite did a wonderful job. They kept to the agreed install date and their installer did a really neat job on a difficult install. Communication was good and the whole crew thing was completed in a day. We are really happy with our Powerwall 2.
