We offer STC rebates as an upfront discount on your quote. These Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) are then signed by you and then traded on your behalf. We do it this way for a seamless experience for our customers.
Even with solar, it's completely normal to see an energy bill. Solar systems generate power during the day which helps offset your daytime energy usage, but doesn't cover evening usage which will drive your bill up.
To maximise your solar investment, it's highly recommended you use higher-consuming appliances during the day so that it can be offset by sunshine instead of the grid.
