Hunter Valley's Leading Residential & Commercial Solar Installers
Hunter Valley's Leading Residential & Commercial Solar Installers
Elite Power Group designs and installs commercial and industrial solar across Newcastle, Maitland, Lake
Macquarie, Singleton and the wider Hunter. Systems range from 10kW for small sites up to 2MW industrial rooftops, designed and installed by
our in-house team and backed by a 10-year workmanship warranty.
Every property uses power differently, so we don't run one template across every job. Offices and strata complexes tend to draw power steadily through the day, while factories, cold stores and processing plants often have sharper peaks tied to equipment and shift patterns.
We design around your actual usage, whether that is an office or retail fit-out, a strata or multi-tenant building, a farm, a warehouse, a factory or another high-consumption industrial site.
01
Large roofs and daytime loads suit solar well. Our largest job is a 2MW rooftop system for a tile manufacturer.
02
Steady weekday demand means most of the solar is used on site. See the childcare centre project below.
03
Shared solar for common areas and, where it suits, individual units through SolShare solar for apartments and multi-unit buildings.
04
Shed roofs and ground mounts for irrigation, dairies and cold storage. Read our guides to solar for farms and off-grid solar and battery systems.
06
We have worked on council and public projects across Newcastle and Maitland.
We size every commercial system to your daytime load rather than a standard package. These reference systems
show what a 26kW, 40kW and 65kW installation looks like, and the 2MW row shows what a custom industrial design involves.
| System | Panels | Inverter | Best suited to |
| 26.4kW | 60 x 440W | 20kW | Smaller offices, retail units and strata buildings with moderate daytime use |
| 39.6kW | 90 x 440W | 30kW | Offices, retail strata and light industrial sites with higher daytime use |
| 64.6kW | 147 x 440W | 50kW | Warehouses, manufacturing and other high-consumption operations |
| 2MW (custom) | 3,919 x 510W Trina Vertex | 16 Sungrow (SG110CX and SG50CX) | Large industrial rooftops, designed around the site's operations |
40kW Solar Power & Inverter System for Businesses
Suits businesses with higher daytime electricity use, such as offices, retail strata or light industrial sites. It offsets a larger share of consumption and shortens payback compared with a smaller system.
90 x 440W Solar Panels & a 30kW Solar Inverter
60kW Solar Power & Inverter System for Businesses
Our largest standard package, built for warehouses, manufacturing sites and other high-consumption operations where daytime draw justifies a bigger array and a faster overall payback.
147 x 440W Solar Panels & a 50kW Solar Inverter
20kW+ Solar Power & Inverter System for Businesses
A starting point for smaller offices, retail units or strata buildings with moderate daytime use. It offsets a meaningful share of consumption without paying for capacity you may not use.
60 x 440W Solar Panels & a 20kW Solar Inverter
By adopting commercial solar power, businesses can actively contribute to environmental efforts while also reaping the financial benefits. Commercial solar installations enable businesses to operate in an environmentally responsible manner, attracting eco-conscious customers, and positioning themselves as leaders in sustainability.
Make a strategic investment in commercial solar power to unlock long-term financial gains for your business. With the proven ROI potential, businesses can optimise their financial performance while contributing to a greener and more sustainable economy.
We've delivered commercial and industrial solar for businesses, strata complexes and industrial facilities throughout the region, from rooftop arrays on retail and office buildings through to larger-scale industrial installations.
We installed a 2MW rooftop solar system for National Ceramic Industries Australia (NCIA), a tile manufacturer
in Rutherford.
The system uses 3,919 Trina Vertex 510W panels and 16 Sungrow inverters (SG110CX and SG50CX models), connected with more than 50km of
DC cabling.
NCIA's factory runs around the clock and can only shut
down once a year, over the Christmas period, so we planned the installation around its operations. NCIA already had a 1MW system, which
the company estimated covered 8 to 10% of the site's consumption.
Tillys Play and Development Centre has installed solar at its childcare centres in Cardiff, Fern Bay and Gillieston Heights. Since the installations, each building has seen up to a 95% reduction in its electricity bill compared with its pre-solar bill.
Like most childcare centres, Tillys uses most of its power through the day, with general consumption, commercial kitchens and ducted air conditioning running until closing time. Daily use can reach 190kWh. We chose 39kW of JA Solar panels and a 30kW Sungrow inverter for the best all-round value for self-consumption, with the option of adding battery storage later.
Our neighbours in Thornton run a 39.6kW system made up of 90 Trina 440W panels and a 30kW Sungrow inverter. It is designed to offset the building's daytime consumption, and a solar-compatible myenergi Zappi charger lets the organisation charge fleet and visitor vehicles directly from the roof. From day-one savings to long-term protection against rising prices, here's what a commercial system actually changes for your business - not just the sustainability talk.
The more of your solar you use on site, the faster the system pays for itself. We size systems to your daytime load so very little is exported at low feed-in rates.
Solar covers part of your daytime consumption, so you buy less from the grid. Electricity is one of the few
large overheads you can actually reduce.
Every kWh you generate is a kWh you don't buy at next year's tariff. That gives you more certainty when you
budget for energy.
Customers, tenants and tender panels increasingly ask about emissions. Solar gives you a measurable reduction
and something concrete to report.
With futures being uncertain, it is getting increasingly important to shield yourself from uncontrollable circumstances that may affect higher operational costs like energy.
Your business will change and so will your energy needs. Battery-ready inverters and a design with spare
capacity let you add panels, commercial
battery storage or
EV
chargers
later.
Finding a solar installer you can trust to still be around when a warranty claim comes up isn't always easy. We're based in Thornton, our team is in-house rather than subcontracted, and there's no call centre between you and the people who actually installed your system.

Every quote is custom. We don't run standard "one-size-fits-all" packages, because no two properties have quite the same roof, usage pattern or budget.
