Hunter Valley's Leading Residential & Commercial Solar Installers
Hunter Valley's Leading Residential & Commercial Solar Installers
Newcastle Solar
We have been installing solar panels and battery storage across Newcastle since 2014. In that time we have worked across most of the city's suburbs, from Stockton and Wickham on the waterfront through to Wallsend, Kotara, Charlestown and the western growth corridor.
Newcastle is our backyard and the installs we do here are some of the most varied work our team takes on, from
tight terrace rooftops in Cooks Hill and Islington through to larger residential properties in Fletcher and Maryland, and commercial
premises across the Broadmeadow and Sandgate industrial corridors.
As leading solar and battery installers throughout the Newcastle region, our team want to help businesses and households throughout Newcastle suburbs from Merewether to Wallsend and Stockton. Most of our team live in Newcastle, so we know the ins and outs of what a Newcastle solar installation should look like. Here's what we do in the area:
Newcastle deserves quality solar power, which is why we provide SAA-accredited solar installations.
Existing Newcastle solar owners can maximise their energy with battery storage.
Just bought an electric vehicle? Charge it at home with your own personal EV charger.
Our team of fully-licensed electricians are here to help you with electrical solutions.
We've been servicing Newcastle for over 10 years. That's 10 years of expert solar and electrical installations, providing all kinds of installations throughout the following Newcastle suburbs.

Solar in Newcastle isn't one-size-fits-all. Homeowners here are moving to solar and battery together more than ever, business owners across the industrial corridors are looking at commercial solar to cut daytime running costs, and a handful of properties out past Minmi and Black Hill are better suited to off-grid solar than a grid-tied system. We work across all of it.
Electricity costs in Newcastle have climbed hard since 2022, which is the main reason solar payback periods have shortened. Add in strong NSW rebates and the Solar Sharer free electricity window, and most Newcastle rooftops with reasonable north or north-west exposure make solid financial sense right now - whether that's a straightforward residential solar installation, a battery added to an existing system, or a full commercial solar setup for a warehouse or strata building.

Rising Electricity Costs in Newcastle
The steel city is where solar makes the most sense. Over our 10 years of operation throughout Newcastle, we've helped countless homes and businesses find optimal solar power solutions, energy storage systems, and quality electrical installations that are all designed to benefit our customers for the long-term. Here are some projects we've completed in the Newcastle region:
This commercial solar installation in Stockton consisted of 70x Trina 435W solar panels, as well as a 10kW Fronius GEN24 SYMO and 17.5kW Symo solar inverter.
This 30.45kW solar system installation will generate enough solar energy that will be equivalent to 7,407 trees planted over its lifetime. That is around 1,152,061 car kms avoided and is estimated to save around 39 tonnes of C0₂ per year.
Stockton Solar Installer
Our team installed a 12.7kW solar system for a home in Beresfield, providing solar generation of 27x AIKO 470W solar panels and a 10kW Fronius GEN24 Primo solar inverter.
This system is estimated to save around 14.4 tonnes of CO₂ per year, totalling the equivalent of 2,778 trees planted and 432,039 car kms avoided over its lifetime.
Solar Installation in Beresfield
Working with Newcastle City Council, we helped the development and upgrade of Gregson Park in the middle of Hamilton.
This project included trenching and cable runs, as well as light post installation and electrical connection for the park's electrical infrastructure.
Hamilton Electrical
With members of our team living in New Lambton, this 13.2kW home solar system was conveniently local installation, with over 32 JA Solar panels (415W) which is set to save the equivalent of planting 2,656 trees.

Solar companies Newcastle
Not every solar company in Newcastle does more than sell and install panels. We handle domestic solar power and business solar power under the one roof, plus the electrical work that often comes with it - switchboard upgrades, EV charger wiring, whatever the job needs.
Whether you're a homeowner comparing solar installation quotes, a strata committee working through a shared-roof project, or a business
chasing a better deal on daytime power, the same in-house team handles it from quote to commissioning. We'd rather talk you through what
your property actually needs than push whatever's cheapest that week.
By reaching out to Newcastle's leading solar and battery installers, we can provide expert insight and consultation into reputable products and a system design that works for you.
Our SAA-accredited installers provide in-house expertise on installations, making sure your system is compliant, high-performing, and long-lasting.
Take advantage of the benefits that solar and battery provide and take your energy to the next level. Save on your bill, reduce your emissions, and increase your independence.

5.0 out of 5
Rated 5 out of 5.Based on 43 reviews from Elite Power Group customers.
Rated 5 out of 5.The team at Elite Power Group were fantastic. The job to put 31 panels on our roof with terracotta roof tiles was technical where a lot of roofing and other solar companies would not even touch. The team of professionals got the job done in a day working from 8am - 6pm to get the job done.
Troy
No sales pitch or pressure tactics at all. Easy to deal with and very responsive. Installed my Tesla Powerwall when they said they would. Way ahead of the 3 other solar battery suppliers I previously dealt with.
